While it wasn’t a screaming fight (I detest screaming, I work with kids all day, I don’t need more of it from a grown adult), we ended up ‘fighting’ over the fact that I wanted him to meet my friends. That…went over well…..*is boyfriendless*

I had a girlfriend become furious at me for calling my dog a goofy asshole as I watched him play in the back yard. He couldn’t hear me, and if he did, he doesn’t speak a lick of English. She went from “don’t talk about him like that!” to “is this how you will treat your CHILDREN?!” in about 37 seconds. Whiskey tango foxtrot?? At first I was taken aback and answered with some sarcastic remarks, but when I saw the rage, I knew I was in done for. She then went on to say something about love and respect, but I tuned her out once I realized we were dead in the water. Dog is sitting right here. Dog is still a goofy asshole.

We got into a fight once about the difference between tv shows that are episodic or procedurals. I kept saying “whatever, the CSI type” and then he’d interrupt me again explaining the difference. My multiple “whatever!” finally silenced us and we didn’t speak for a couple of hours. When we finally dealt with it, he said he was hurt that I didn’t listen to him. Oops.

I had one relationship end because my girlfriend and I disagreed about a ‘Brothers and Sisters’ plot line, a show that neither of us had seen before and I haven’t watched since. Nothing was thrown, but the fact that the fight took all of 20 minutes to finish us off goes to show it was probably already doomed.
